Last Lecture: what would dad do?

Randy Pausch passed away on Friday. His moving last lecture, “Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams,” is incredible.

As a result, it’s got me wondering about what my dad’s last lecture may have been. Did he think about it? Did he share ideas with colleagues? Would he find this question “silly”?

In advance of 2009 Vernon Young International Award for Amino Acid Research nomination deadline (Sept 1), I’m now inspired to think more about how dad would have structured and delivered his last lecture.
