I really hate to rain on public transportation’s wireless access parade but I’ll go ahead anyway. I wrote about this issue a few months back, Wi-Fi on the Choo Choo, when my Commuter Rail announced it would be offering us free wireless access to presumably keep us “sweet” given the rash of performance issues it has experienced the past 24 months.

So I was quoted in a Wi-Fi Planet on April 9 on this very issue. You can read Daniel Casciato’s in-depth article here.

My point is very simple to all the city and transportation leaders – you know what will set your bus / train / ferry line apart from the competition?

BE ON TIME AND ON SCHEDULE!
